VSAT Grand Finale
In a production conceived by international theatre director Frederic Wake-Walker specifically for the space at Messums Wiltshire, the Verconica Stewart Arts Trust showcased work from 2014 – 16. Having worked with the trust on Walk Ashore in 2015, Thimble Theatre was invited back for the grand finale. The event was an amalgamation of years 2017 (literature) and 2018 (music) in a new commission. The piece was created by composer Daniel Saleeb and writer Zoë Palmer, recent graduates of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and sung by acclaimed countertenor Iestyn Davies.
Harriet and Maia performed an adapted extract form Walk Ashore alongside performers: Iestyn Davies, countertenor; Jonas Nordberg, lutes and guitars; Liam Byrne, viola da gamba; Matthew Barley, cello; Holly Harman, violin; Levi Burrough, dance.
